Bluechip Venture Fund
The Bluechip Venture Fund was co-founded by Dato PY Lai and Tim Chen, both senior executives for several decades in the high tech industries, with both international and China experiences.
This is a specialist semi-conductor fund, it will invest in IC design, advanced packaging and equipment.
Primary purpose of the fund is to kick-start investment to take Malaysian semi-conductor industries up the value Chain. Malaysia has a solid 50 years foundation in the semi conductor industry, the country has built a complete eco-system; Opportunities exist to take advantage of the opportunities presented by changing geo political situation that resulted in the decoupling of the global supply chain especially in the semi-conductor industry.
BlueChip Venture Fund will promote foreign enterprises to develop in Malaysia and add strategic value to the joint venture by leveraging on the advantages of our partners, in developing enterprises in IC design, advanced packaging and Semiconductor Equipment
We encourage these enterprises to IPO in Malaysia, to become fully committed local companies, thereby helping them to fully integrate into Southeast Asia, maintaining their international vision and competitiveness, while advance Malaysia’s position in the global high-tech industry.
